Chapter 1
“Yet ANOTHER goukon*? I can’t believe them! All they do is sit around flirting with their boyfriends. Especially Chisa! She’s supposed to be my best friend and yet during these parties I ALWAYS get stuck with the boring nerds or perverts! What have I done to deserve this?!”
Takahashi Shako. Akayama Gakuen High School 1st year .It’s an all girl’s school. My grades tend to be above average and yet I still manage to have a social life. School’s pretty fun especially because I’m surrounded by my friends. Like my best friend, Ayamoto Chisato, or as I call her Chisa, Kuroki Hiroto (Hiro) and Nakazawa Maki (Macchan)
When I was born, I was supposed to bring good fortune to my family especially being born on a lucky day.*My parents had always treasured me, not because I was their child, but because I was like their lucky rabbit’s foot. I fail to believe any of those superstitions because I’m generally unlucky….especially when it comes to love.
“Gosh I can’t believe this!” Shako was angrily walking along the streets of Tokyo, “Why do they even bother to set up those things for me if they’re just going to go off with their sweethearts and ignore me in the end?! They always say ‘Shako-chan let’s find you a man so we can double date!’ and yet every time I’m stuck with some loser. Some friends they ar-” Shako had suddenly collided with a young boy. “Oi! Watch where you’re going!” the irritated high schooler yelled as she was picking up the items that she dropped. She didn’t even bother to look up at the stranger let alone wait for an apology. Instead, the teen stood up and continued on her way even angrier than before. “People these days,” she said as she rolled her eyes.
A/N- gomen nasai for such a short 1st chapter! The next one will be up tomorrow! Dai-chan's fully introduced in there too :3 i was originally planning on using Yama-chan as my main character for this fic..but then i didn't want to pair him off with someone because he's mine :3 *gets shot by fangirls* so i chose Dai-chan instead ^-^
This is my first fic ever so... comments and criticism are love <3 ^-^

*lucky days- days of rokuyo there are specific days in Japan where it is considered lucky at a certain point of the day. For example, there are days where it is luck all day except at noon. They are superstitions just like the Western superstition surrounding Friday the 13th
*Goukon-parties where singles mingle in hopes of finding a boyfriend or girlfriend. They’re like blind dates but with a group of people instead of just one pair.
