Ok, so I wasn’t going to post this stuff, just reply to comments, but I wrote a lot and feel the need to put it up so everyone can read it.

Jesus wasn't baptized, he was Jewish and last I checked they don't do that. I actually believe baptism is a Roman thing and was not part of the initial religion but assimilated when Christianity became a Roman trend. So if it were to be just a way of covering our asses it is redundant, also, Christians have a little "trial period", if you would, until the person becomes able to consciously act, I forget what it is called but you are not liable for your actions until a certain age and the baptism usually occurs before that so it once again becomes redundant. I'm not saying religion has to make a lot of sense, clearly, but that is second guessing the founding belief...if I were Jesus I think I'd be offended. As far as doing what Jesus did, I'm pretty sure there are things about his life that people would like to not take part in, namely the whole being crucified at the age of...23 I think.

I think angels are slaves, though I don't see a need for someone who is all powerful to have a use for slaves, but that is what they are. AND! God doesn't make mistakes, He IS perfect and that's the point. For Him to have made a mistake means he is not perfect and thus can not exist...as far as him being bored, I thought that was the point to having humans, entertainment, and if he truly was all powerful he would have to make "a rock so heavy he can't lift it" in order to have someone worth battling, but I don't believe in circular reasoning or the use of paradoxes in arguments, so I'm going to leave that one alone.

Ccollette-
1) I don’t know what loose and strict constructionism is…sorry
2) I HATE THE WORD “FAITH” it’s such shit, and is the first thing anyone talking about religion reverts to when they are stuck for an answer. You should not “believe” in something that is false.(<--period) and I have no problem having faith in something and believing in something as long as you understand it and take everything as true. What’s the point in believing in something that is false? But don’t get me wrong, I’m not arguing against the existence of God, yet, I’m just trying to find out if these things are true, I’m trying to be educated so that I don’t fall on my face when I actually do make that assertion. But I haven’t yet, so don’t get ahead of me. :oP Plus, I don’t know if there is a God, and really I don’t care, I also don’t think religion is bad in its intentions, I think people take it too far, I think it has become a system of cons and pretence and I WILL NOT talk about faith as an argument, as it is circular and paradoxical in nature. And as I have previously stated, these things have no place in a logical argument or discussion.
3) Not true, those fuckers come in to work right after church all dressed up and in a prissy mood because they were told how awful they all are for about 2 hours.
