Or rather, the day after Valentine's Day, because Robert was far too mopey (over a certain ex-partner of eight years ago and some certain feelings that have been bothering him as of late) and awkward to actually try to talk to anybody during the actual day. If you were thinking of coming over, I could prepare some tea for you. [It's still out from when he made some for Helios... Ah, but thinking about Helios is making him feel all weirdly-fuzzy.]

I would be delighted to have your company. [Robert's voice smiles gently along with him. It's always nice to talk to Ami - someone so much like himself - and know that she's pretty much feeling how he is.

Off he goes to brew that tea while he waits for Ami. His apartment is starting to smell really nice now, between the fresh tea scent and the chocolate.]

[Robert heads over to where the desk is and picks up the box for Ami, complete with the clearly-written note on it. He hands it to her.] And this is for you... I realize it is, er, standard... But I still hope that you like it, regardless.

[Ami shakes her head.] I'm very thankful. This is the first I've ever received something for Valentine's Day. [Who was she going to give something to in Japan? And in America, the customs had been different and she hadn't been dating yet.]
