Report 004 [Video/Voice|Backdated to the afternoon of the 15th of February (because the mun fails)]
[Ah, Valentine's Day. Or rather, the day after Valentine's Day, because Robert was far too mopey (over a certain ex-partner of eight years ago and some certain feelings that have been bothering him as of late) and awkward to actually try to talk to anybody during the actual day. Plus he was attempting to make the most of the advice he had gotten...
And today, he's broadcasting the results of that endeavour.
Robert has several boxes of chocolates, all of them neatly organized, on a table next to him. Each of them has a note attached, labelled with a specific name and written in an extremely proper script - one might think it was typed, almost - that explains quite clearly that its purpose is simply as a gesture of goodwill. Apparently somebody took Poland's advice too literally.
There is one oddity though - a hardcover book, something that looks to be about mythological creatures - The Bard's Bestiary: Mythical Creatures in Shakespeare. Now if anybody knows anything about Robert, that's not a book one would expect to find anywhere near his person. And yet he's holding it, almost to his chest as though it's supposed to be shielding something. He seems obviously nervous - even flustered. There's a vague hint of a flush on his face - not very intense but enough to show he is not used to this kind of thing.
When he does speak up, his voice is a little halting, although he's obviously trying really hard to keep himself from stammering too much.]
Er, salutations. I must apologize for not formally contacting anybody yesterday during the recent holiday, but, I had something in the way of... plans. I do hope that everybody had a... pleasant day, though. [He clutches the book just a little closer to his chest.] But, I have a few minor announcements to make...
Most specifically, I have... gifts, for several notable individuals. Doctor Mizuno, Doctor Faye-Ling and her partner Mr. Jordan, Miss Aislinn... There were other kind people I spoke to as well who are also accounted for.
And... [Here he hesitates a moment, with some obvious anxiety and what might be a twinge of fear.] ... for Mr. Sprensonne - Helios, that is - I have a... book, from the library. I must thank Mr. Donatello most profusely for assisting me both in learning about it and in obtaining it - and for that I have a gift for Mr. Donatello as well. [Cue Robert's gaze flickering awkwardly downward.
So how will you bother this really anxious scientist on such a fine day to bother him?]
