[Ah, Valentine's Day. Or rather, the day after Valentine's Day, because Robert was far too mopey (over a certain ex-partner of eight years ago and some certain feelings that have been bothering him as of late) and awkward to actually try to talk to anybody during the actual day. Plus he was attempting to make the most of the advice he had gotten...

[Donatello seems a lot more interesting than the last time Robert talked to him. And... more approachable, perhaps?
Perhaps the holiday is just getting to him but Robert tries to seem more... approaching-friendly.]
But if you would prefer I drop the title, that is simple enough. After all, I would much rather address you with the title that best suits you. [Formality? What's that? He can dispense with the formalities with such a gentle... turtle as this fellow, right?]

No title. Call me Don.

It does not bother him right now. How could anything Donatello would do ever be bothersome?]

He also really, desperately hopes that the information technology book that he picked up at the library is something Donatello hasn't read before. It seems... imperative that the gift be a good one. Something more than just some throwaway junk.
Then he looks over at the door. Hearing Donatello approach, he pretty much immediately gets up and opens the door.]
A-Ah, salutations, Don - please, come in.
... May I perhaps help you with all those coats? [Usually Robert would want to keep distance from people. Donatello is not one of those people.]

Thanks. [He enters and removes about seven coats, passing some of them to Robert to put wherever it is that he puts his guests' coats.]

Robert holds the coats rather comically over his arms and begins to hang them up - primly, neatly, and even organizing them. It's all automatic for him.]
Er, please feel free to... make yourself at home. Comparitively speaking.
I realize my abode is rather... empty. [The last part has a definite note of embarrassment and perhaps even loneliness to it, despite being quieter.] But... I do hope it will be satisfactory for the time being...
