Teaching in New Orleans right now is very difficult. Impossible to grasp the attention of my students for more than 30 seconds...fighting and cursing is constant, only a few are interested in learning. These poor souls are not to be blamed. I do know of a wonderful doctor who specializes in Chiropractic and Neurology. He has been in practice locally for over 30 years (or close to that) and is actually looking to work with the schools to help kids in situations like these. He has a lot of experience dealing with kids, especially those who have ADD. His name is Dr. Bob Newsom, and he is located at 747 Veterans Blvd. 504-828-8123. He might be able to help you out.
