Brooklyn Nine Nine - Casecation

 I don't like the episode Casecation. Michael Schur has a tendency to make a lot of his characters have babies happily ever after. Latest on the list are Jake and Amy. Amy has never even expressed a wish to have children until this episode. It doesn't seem possible that it would never have come up until now. Jake's reasons for not wanting the them are legitimate. It would have been nice to see her validate his fears instead of steamrolling over them. It was just not cool for Rosa to offer to bully Jake into having them with Amy, just because she thinks that they'd be cute. And then Jake saying that he actually does want kids, but is afraid reinforces that you can/should change someone's mind like that in real life... Children are a boring plot device.
