quieromangotango: i think that everyone is just trying desperatley to hang on to the last bit of summer and familiarity, and to stuff in last bits to their friendships -to suck the most that they possibley can out of the "high school experience". no one is willing to say goodbye gracefully, really. the lack of comfort that college (or simply the lack of high school) is suddenly very near and it's starting to make people nervous
