sheer bliss...
I am now the proud new owner of a new laptop -a Dell Inspiron 600 to be precise. Mmmmm...yummilicious.
I must say it is a truly beautiful thing. One only has to understand the state of my previous laptop to understand how dire the situation was: it was missing key-caps left and right, the spacebar stuck, hinges from the keyboard to the monitor were broken so the screen would not stay upright by itself, it had to be propped up, and it was just plain old...so it worked slowly and -horror of horrors, the USB port was too old to support the cable for the iPod.
but, never fear, with my new laptop...and a little help from Anjan, now all is right in the world.
the laptop is up and running beautifully, i finally got to see the trailer Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (and it looks AMAZING I might add), and, like i said with help from Anjan, i got my iTunes up and running.
I now have added my own flavor (with my "bad" music)to the collection of music started on my iPod from the boyfriend -complete with even some country (i can breathe a little easier now Dan).
All in all it's been a most productive evening -although it will undoubtedly be followed shortly by carpal tunnel syndrome
