Happy New Years
Well, I may as well post for the new year. Happy 2008, everyone.
So, I think I am going to keep my New Years Resolutions again. I tend to be very selective in mine. This year they are as follows.
1) I resolve not to topple a third world country's goverment and install myself as dictator.
2) I resolve not to drive faster than 93 million miles a second.
3) I resolve not to go to work wearing Spiderman underwear.
4) I resolve not to start more than three suicide cults
5) I resolve not to release genetically engineered velociraptors onto an unsuspection population and any expirments with my Mr. Scientist Junior Gene Splicer Kit (tm) will be used for good and not evil.
Well, due to the holiday (today), I officially ended my last job yesterday. My new job starts tomorrow. That means that for all of today I am actually unemployed. I decided that since I am unemployed today, I should make the best of it and lounge around in sweats all day and feeling sorry for myself.
Other than planning for my new job, I am going to try to do some serious fiction writing. I am going to clean up my NaNo and get it ready for possibly publication. I also am thinking of taking on a smaller project where I am going to try to novelize a comic Jesse and I were going in on together but never got off the ground. It wasn't so much that it was a brilliant story so much as I read "John Dies At The End" and realized that I had sort of worked on a story of a similar surrreal nature. I might just toss it out there as a web page. But that is a project that is really far on the back burner.
Tommorrow is the big day. Still got to press my clothes. Hopefully I will have good news to report tomorrow evening.
