Nothing terribly exciting happened. The flight schedule was such that I didn't get more than a single afternoon off the whole nine days. Which is pretty much expected on these field campaigns. It was a very successful campaign, with lots of good weather. The weather in Houston got really hot and muggy by the last couple days I was there, so the 60s of Madison today seem very nice. Highlight of the trip was hanging out with the UK Meteorological Office people. They hosted a celebratory BBQ on the last night, and we went to what passed for an Irish Pub afterwards. Much fun with the variety of accents from across the UK, and watching their reactions to various Texas things.
Anyway, good to be home. See some or all of you soon.
