My first fanmix! I'm currently working through an Austen/Brontë addiction and wanted to do something for my favourite portrayal of Jane Eyre/Edward Rochester! BBC's 2006 miniseries had a
gorgeous score, but unfortunately no soundtrack was ever released

Finding this is a treasure! Toby was just flawless, and brought me to tears several times.

It's perfectly fine! I tend to fangirl over Jane Eyre too much anyway. Thanks for letting me fangirl back, haha.

I hope you don't mind, but I took a quick look at your LJ. I was wondering if maybe 1) you could recommend me another period piece romance since I am still feeding an obsession for them (I just finished reading P&P for the third time) and 2) may I friend you? I have lately been rediscovering LJ and what kind of things I may be interested in again.

There are a lot of amazing period films that I've seen. I'll take a look at my collection and get back to you with a good list. At the top of my head though, have you seen North and South with Richard Armitage?
I'd be delighted to be friends! I'm still rather new to LJ (I had an account wayyy back in 2009 but got rid of it) so still trying to get used to the site.

And yay! With everyone seeming to have migrated to Twitter and/or Tumblr, I was even more determined to get back into LJ with proper length posts and threads. :p

Everyone has migrated to tumblr it looks like. I love the site, but I feel odd sharing my personal life on there. Plus I love the communities there are for my fandoms.

LOL, Spooks is a bit too intense to marathon. You, like, can only watch one episode every week (or every two weeks if its particularly intense and depressing). But I swear its good. At least, when Macfadyen was the lead it was highly addictive without being too testosterone packed, so you COULD watch a few episodes back to back without feeling terribly stressed. Actually, when I compare later episodes with Armitage and Penry-Jones to those of Macfadyen, its clear that they beefed up the action and therefore required more "action-built" men to run around and be (too rarely) shirtless.

I totally forgot Macfadyen was the lead in the show during the start. Yeah, I might have to go back and rewatch it. I quite like him, even though I didn't care for him as Mr. Darcy in the newer Pride and Prejudice film...
YOUR ICON. <3

Yeah, I hated the "american" ending. I thought their relationship and love was perfectly established without all the kissing. :/

Richard Armitage could play anything and make me swoon. I would so love him to be in some Austen adaptation. I could see him playing an amazing Colonel Brandon....
