So, yesterday ended up being a fun day. Woke up at 5:30, as normal. Did work @ CompleWare, my Linear Algebra Class, then did more work, this time for Dr. Jones. I love working for Jones, I learn so much, and it feels a lot more rewarding than anywhere else I've worked at. We have boards working, and should soon have good software for them too!
Then I went to Holly's place to feed her plants, water her fish, and pet her snake.
After that I went home and got ready for a bike ride with good friend Lillian, who I hadn't seen for a few years, but still talked to online every so often. Boy, was I surprised when I saw her! She had shaved her head a couple months ago, and was just now growing her hair back. She also had gotten her nose pierced - which was also very surprising! So, anyway, we went on our bike ride. We rode down past Coralridge Mall, which is a good 4 to 5 miles, one way. We stopped off at Coldstone, got some water, and rode back.
It was a little before we got back to the official trail that Lillian realized "Oh shit! I dropped my keys!" So we're riding along, and I remember that my little brother lives near Lillian's family, so I tell Lillian that we should stop, I needed to make a phone call, so my brother and Carl could take Lillian back to CR after bad movie night at my place. Well, after I got done talking to them, before we started off again, Lillian triumphantly flashed her keys at me and told me that, had I not decided to stop there to make the call, she would have missed her keys entirely. I must be good luck, or something. Maybe psychic, that would be awesome.
Anyway, we got back to my place, drank water, Lillian left, and I showered because I stank like a hobo (No offense to any hobos reading this).
While I was in the middle of my shower, Patrick called, so I had to cut it short. Sad! Then, bad movie night started - I had Kim, Patrick, Carl, and Brian there. We made fun of the Spider, which is a horribly made black and wite movie about a gigantoid spider. After the movie, we played Guitar Hero, I stayed up late (per usual) talking to people, before finally going to sleep. All in all, a good day. Then, I wrote a poem this morning - maybe I'll post it up here, maybe not - it depends on what reviews it gets from it's target audience. :-D
