Thinking of You... and Your WIP
Okay, my fannish friends, how freaking awesome is this: Fanmark: The Fandom Hallmark Store?

I think there are at least five "occasions" on that first list that could apply to me personally (and that includes the C&D one). Hey! Guess the other four correctly and you'll win ... something, I don't know.
I've been involved in online fandom (of one sort of another) for nearly 10 years now, and I would SO buy some of those cards.
In other, totally non-related news that I'm mentioning now only because it's been awhile since I last updated ... I'm sick. Again. And it sucks (again), but I think I've successfully avoided strep throat/laryngitis, an ear infection, AND a trip to the doctor. I even stayed home from work today, just for good measure. So hey, let's hear it for home remedies! Who needs penicillin when you've got whiskey, vinegar and hydrogen peroxide at your disposal?
Yah. That didn't sound right, did it?
Oh, and speaking of cool-ish links not found by me (torra strikes again!) I've been wanting to post a link to some really superb writing advice by astolat, and when it popped up on metafandom this morning I figured it was safe to do so.
It's really wonderful, useful advice, and I figure that anyone who's had their book optioned by Peter Jackson probably knows what they're talking about...
