yeah, so i'm not still a huge fan of verizon, again. they sent me a notice that my payment was overdue, and that unless they receive it in a week they'd shut off my service. this, after telling me previously that i didn't have to pay for my mistake (resulting in the extra $1300 in charges) all at once.
so i called.
the second person i talked to set up a payment plan, over a six-month period, where i'll be paying off 1/6 of the extra charges at a time, plus whatever the current month's bill is. plus until that amount is paid off, my long-distance service would be suspended.
huh?!? wait. ok. fine. (i actually don't use it at all - that's what my cell phone is for. so no big deal)
i'm just waiting to see if i'll be charged for long-distance service even though i'm not allowed to use it. but i'll definitely be able to pay it off before six months so whatever.
the interesting(?) thing was that when i was on hold, the music playing in the background was "anything but down" as in:
