"Stand in the place where you live"
Today was pretty cool.
Alice came over at around noon, and we tried to find some food to eat. Unfortunately, all the restaurants were closed, so finally we went to Taco del Mar and had burritos. That was taaaaasty. She also lost her debit card, sadly, but she thinks it's in the ATM still, which is relatively lucky.
After Alice left, I took my brother up to Woodinville to see the fireworks. Unfortunately, their display was cancelled, so I went to Edmonds instead. I saw Jake's dad as the MC there, but didn't see Jake or anyone I knew. I took lots of pictures, but am too tired to put them on the comp right now. Tired, you ask? Why am I tired? Well, because I entertained a 12 year old boy for almost 5 hours. But I also ate polish sausage, which was tasty. Today is a day of good food. And I managed to keep my brother from buying a 4 foot tall inflatable alien, which is an accomplishment, even if he did sneak a damned glowstick past me.
I got an actual comment from a good photographer on Flickr, complimenting one of my pics :). I'm proud of myself.
Also, while I was on the freeway, Nick called to say he was home. My brother had a long, confusing conversation with him as I was driving, but apparently he had a good time in England dancing like a drunken Irish wench and being hit on by a 13 year old. I'm not kidding. Ask him. The secksi penguin icon is therefore appropriate.
