so i got hit on in the library of performing arts tonight while i was waiting in line to make copies. he was this kind of adorable short black guy with really curly hair...he came up to me and this is what happened:

Guy (super shy): So, I didn't want to sound weird, but I think you're really cute, and I was wondering that, maybe if you weren't seeing anyone, that we could get to know each other...

Me: Awww, well actually I am seeing someone (I lied, cause I didn't wanna get involved), but you totally made my day with your compliment!

Guy: *smile* Well, I'm sorry that you are seeing someone...I'm Will.

Me: Hi, I'm Sam. *we shake hands and I notice how weak his handshake is*

Will: Oh, and your t-shirt? (I was wearing my 'Very Huggable' tshirt) It is definitely true.

Me: *smile* Thanks. Have a good night.

Will: You too.

and then he walked away. I thought it was so cute. I haven't been hit on in such a long time. It was nice and it really did make my night, but I don't think I would ever date a random guy that I met in the library of performing arts.

Then Shaina and I took a cab home cause we didn't feel like taking the train, plus, she needed to make a phone call. And when I got home, I had some drinks and talked to Barron for a while on da phone. Good times. I'm gonna copy some music for him, and him and I decided that we need to take back Broadway Revue this year and make it really good. I am determined to make the orchestra not suck this year. We need to get players who are committed and we need to get them their music ahead of time, so that everything goes some semblance of smooth. And there will be no cutting major numbers that the performers have actually worked to choreopgraph the night before the show just because the pit isn't ready. That's not fair to the performers. Likewise, it's also not fair to the pit if they don't have their music ahead of time, so that will have to happen too.

Okay, any buzz that I had has definitely worn off and I need to get some sleep. Yay for tomomorrow.

Love you kids!

=o)

summertime!, cap
