“Really, Sweetie, it’s not that bad,” River insisted as she followed him down the corridor towards the TARDIS console. “It’s just my mother.”
“Just your mother?” The Doctor banged his hand on the console and a piece of paper shot out. Clearing his throat, he read aloud. “Quote, my mother could make a Dalek beg for mercy, end quote.”
“You wrote it down?”
“No...” He frowned. “The TARDIS transcribed it from her audio files. See, says so there...” He pointed to the small print at the bottom of the page.
“I may have overstated...”
“No, no, absolutely not!”
