NGH Convention update
I'm feeling pleasantly overwhelmed and blessed by friends' generosity right now! One friend has offered me enough Frequent Flyer miles to get me up to Boston and back home again (well, DFW, but I can get a ride home from there pretty easily). Three other friends have offered enough $$$ to almost pay for either the two-day Stage Hypnosis seminar OR two days of the convention. My sister might be able to get me up to 6 nights at her timeshare (although it's located almost 2 hours' drive away from the convention site, so I probably won't be able to use it while I'm actually attending sessions). This is so cool!!!
I've still got more money to raise - nearly $600 in order to be able to do the two days pre-convention, all three days of convention and the one-day HypnoClutter(tm) seminar I'm interested in post-convention.
The absolutely HARDEST part of this whole thing is going to be not seeing my girls for 9 or 10 days... I've *NEVER* been away from them for such a long time before. Yikes!
The most amazing part of this so far has been that for the most part these gifts are being offered with no expectation of return (my airline ticket comes with the request to Pay it Forward when I'm able to help someone else out sometime). Wow. Just, wow. This is renewing my faith in humanity.
