Hulk smash rage

Things I really hate: trying to produce a report that generates a perfectly lined up PDF on all the machines in our company. I can get it to produce a perfectly lined up PDF when I generate it on my local machine, but the moment it hits the intranet all the elements are fractionally out of line with each other.

Hell, the moment I send the damn PDF (that is fine on my screen) to someone else they are fractionally out of line.

The best part is the way that they are fractionally out of line in different ways between my machine, my project partner's and our business analysts'. Argh!! I cannot win!

In less rage-smashy news...

Yesterday I finally ordered the Blu Ray player that I've been planning to get for months. I went for a Panasonic that the reviews all agreed had great boot-up/load times, very good screen appearance and didn't have 3D because I absolutely hate that stuff and if I'm never going to buy a TV that is capable of 3D, why would I pay an extra $60 for those features in a BD player?

Also in the order were Game of Thrones (boxset) and Source Code for my Hugo watching needs. Neither in BD. I know, I'm a loon. I'm compiling a list of stuff that I need to order.

Sekrit message to fahrenheit_f430: I slipped in that thing we were talking about and I'm hoping Mum doesn't see to ask for explanations. It's a big enough disguise order, right?

Tonight is injection night. I'm trying to encourage Mum to go out to a church study group thing so that I can have a couple of hours of peaceful veging out in front of the TV after my stabbing. We're having differences of opinion on the TV now and I just want some comfort TV and some chocolate to get over my horrible day.

Also, apparently I can only write crack in Avengers fanfic. My thoughtful, serious fic will go nowhere. My brain is being bugged by...well...best not to discuss it because it is yet another plotless epic of insanity.

ETA: and then someone deleted all my test data and I decided to go home before I killed anyone and took out my frustrations with an hour of mad pedaling on the exercise bike *sigh*
