Yuletide glee

I have stood on the outskirts of yuletide for years, watching as everyone panicks in the run-up to the deadline and then watching everyone go into orgasms when the archive opens. I've never really understood why it was so exciting and I hadn't really delved too far into the archive ( Read more... )

*g* In my younger days, when I had more energy (and was still anemic! No matter what my GP says!) I did frequently stay up late to read and then go into work barely able to keep my eyes open.

Now I am a sensible adult-type person :-( So no matter how excited I am, I'll just have to stick to sensible adult-type hours and not call in sick.

How ironic will it be if I now catch the flu that everyone in my office is getting?

You know me - I'll think about it and never do it. I'm incapable of calling in sick unless I suspect imminent death.

I'm OK. Sunday was a bit of a mess due to the extended power cut so I totally failed at being on-line :-( I was, in fact, curled up on the sofa with Mum, sis and some DVDs attempting to warm up and praying that this time the power would hold.

If things like electricty actually work out, I shall be around this Sunday for a chat :-)
