While it would be nice to see Alicia leaving L&G over Bishop, in the episode in which she and Cary discussed leaving the firm, Cary specifically states that she would bring Bishop with her as a client. Maybe this episode is supposed to indicate a change of heart, but then if Bishop killing his wife under Alicia's nose didn't do it, I'm not sure what would. And in general I wouldn't expect Alicia to walk away from L&G this season - now that she's financially vested in the firm, walking away will be a more complicated process
( ... )
I don't know that Diane and Will are thinking with their personnel decisions, either, because as you say, why not put Kalinda in the hiring committee, especially since she is the one who'll work with the person in question later?
(On a Doylist level, I'm also not sure what the scriptwriters were thinking, other than preparing the next crisis at L & G, but surely Diane and Will should look like better handlers of their staff in general than they did these last few episodes?)
Bishop: you're right, so he did, I had forgotten that. And true, now that Alicia is financially vested in the firm, it's much harder to walk away.
