Five favorite ships - sailing ships, spaceships, etc., not relationships.

1.) The Liberator (Blake's 7). While the B7 budget was tiny to nonexistant, the Liberator was a splendid ship anyway (and for a glimpse of how it would have looked like with GCI, see the Excalibur from Crusade, with the ship not being the only thing in the B5 spin off - or ( Read more... )

You put it so well. :) Note: Moya did speak in LATP, via her god's intervention.

Right, there was that. (And here it shows that I never rewatched the LATP, for no particular reason, I liked the episodes, but I only saw them once.)

You should. They're quite re-watch-able.

Also, I find nothing whatsoever in this post to disagree with. :)

The problem is that there are so many other fannish sources to catch up with and Darth Real Life, so rewatching anything right now is out...

I wonder if a Vorlon ship (weren't they supposed to be alive?) and the Tardis and Moya might be able to communicate, and what they might say about their passengers? ETA: I mean, we got to see the Tardis interact with the Doctor, and Moya with some of her inhabitants, but I mean ship gossip, literally. :D

Well, of course the shows assure us that those living things think infinitely more complicated and layered than we do, but this mundane human translation is making the rounds in the multiverse:

Vorlon ship: I envy you two. At least you have some variety of passengers. Not that I have something against Kosh, Kosh, or for that matter, Kosh, but a different species now and then would be nice. It was great when I got to transport the redhead now and then, but now beyond the rim it's again all Kosh, all the time.

TARDIS: I hear you. That's why I ran off and made my thief take me away from Gallifrey. It was mindnumbingly boring there. Although of course now and then I miss a Time Ram, but you can't have everything.

Moya & Vorlon Ship: ?!?

TARDIS: One TARDIS materializing in another, or haven't you heard the expression before? (This is canon, btw. From various Third and Fourth Doctor serials. They really called it that.)Moya: At least you were getting some in the past. It's been ages for me ( ... )

This cracks me up! Time Ram, really? Hee! Hey, wasn't G'Kar going to travel with Lyta for a bit? That's be a bit more variety for Kosh(s)'s ship. And poor Moya. I like to imagine that she finds a mate or at least gets to hook up very soon after mini-series end, while everyone's hanging around Arnessk talking it out with transplanted Eidolons.

I love your list. (Of course, just thinking the words "Talyn, starburst." will make me get weepy.)

Into the Lion's Den: Wolf in Sheep's Clothing is probably my favourite Farscape episode, and that particular scene always makes me weepy, too.

"Talyn, starburst" Oh, that scene was heartbreaking. Talk about an act of redemption and sacrifice.
Your list is so right on track.
