I just cannot avoid a maniacal cackle of glee with that first look M & X give each other in the trailer. No more can I get over that they cast two actors I like this much in the leads.

I might have mentioned this a few times.

I probably would not have equated those actors to the roles before they were cast, but having seen them before, I know they're good, and seeing them now in the trailer, I really think they will be good as Xavier & Magneto! *bounces*

Looks nice. I do like McAvoy and Fassbender as Charles and Erik, they have a really nice rapport, judging from this trailer.

I spotted Beast and Mystique, which means two of my favourite blues will be around as well! I also recognized quite a lot of the actors, but couldn't place most of them. Yay for January Jones, though!

You may have also spotted Rose Byrnes, who plays Moira McTaggart; Ellen from Damages, though you might know her from RTD's Casanova (she played the maid Old Casanova told the story to).

January Jones as Emma Frost is something else I look forward to. Granted, I've only seen her in Mad Men, but based on that she ought to be able to do a good Emma.

Yes! Casanova it is, since I haven't watched Damages yet. There were at least two others besides her, though. I'll have to look at a cast list.

I love January Jones as an actor, even more so because she and especially Betty get bashed so much. (Which leads to that other phenomenon, Betty defenders bashing Joan. Because it's impossible to like more than one female character. *eyeroll*)

I haven't used this icon in a long time. I was so scarred by X3 I was done with this story. But....

Oh dear. It does look good, doesn't it?

I was scarred as well - which is one reason why I stayed the hell away from Wolverine - but years have passed, and it looks like the people responsible for the X3 mess aren't involved anymore? Mind you, doesn't mean the new people can't find ways to screw it up on their own, but... that trailer is really really tempting!
