fannish5: Name 5 characters you like but that you wouldn't hire to work with you.

Only five? Is that a joke? Most fictional people I adore tend to be NOT the kind of people I'd work with, or for. But fine. Here are five of many.

1.) Arvin Sloane (Alias). My beloved Mr. S. is actually super competent, be it at heading a good guy spy organisation, a bad ( Read more... )

Love the comments about Sloane! And, sadly, agree with you about Wesley. (Oddly, I might actually hire Lilah Morgan, though it would certainly depend on "to do what"?)

Also, you're evil because you've now made me intrigued with the Third Doctor!

*icon depicts Third Doctor and boss of same, aka the Brig, in closet, literally, as are hiding from bad guys and arguing*

If you want to know more about Three and friends, I wrote a post in praise.

Lilah Morgan: you have a point. Proven loyality record to her organisation of choice even among her-life-threatening circumstances, and ability to work with people she dislikes...

...and just because I still think of Alias as The Arvin Sloane Show doesn't mean I'm suicidal. :)

She did decapitate one of her bosses, but that was a response to gross incompetence as well as personal charmlessness, and she got permission from higher up first.

Also, Lilah is currently dead (but seems to be able to work nonetheless), so one assumes that you wouldn't have to pay for living expenses!

Yes, very true. Exactly the kind of benefits Wolfram & Hart likes to pay! So, yes, I wouldn't want to work WITH Lilah but I'd gladly have her work for me (assuming I was confident enough in my own competence that I wouldn't suspect her of going off to find a preferable boss.
