just an update
These days I'm pretty busy. Not THAT busy...certainly I could squeeze a lot more in, but compared to the least few years of being almost completely idle, my days are pretty full. One of the upsides of this is I am not posting in this LJ every 27 seconds about every little thing and sometimes nothing.
It's looking to be an out of town weekend, starting with a visit to Clemson, and hopefully culminating in some serious bocce tourney action at Espositos in Greenville SC. Played a little bocce yesterday and did well, but the field conditions were just crazy.
Finished Confederacy of Dunces and loved it loved it loved it. Time trialed Gainesville College Trail yesterday and finished with a time of 21mins 26 secs, which isn't too bad a time considering the times I overheard from some of the heavy hitter bike doods who ride the advanced group rides on mondays. Greg did it in 20mins 56 secs. I'm suprised he didn't beat me by more. Trail conditions being a little soggy probably added about 10 secs on to each of our rides. On the cool down lap I ate it pretty hard (again), due to my front tire washing out in some loose stuff.
One of these days I'll make another Handpicked DUB podcast. For now though, just school and riding...
