Mindi's annual Peidmont Park birthday celebration and bocce frolic
Unfortunately, I didn't get any shots of the heavy bocce action that happened at Piedmont Park saturday. I did end up officiating for a while in a game that was not ours...glad to see some other folks throwing the palino in the park! Some folks from our squad were gonna go challenge the other group to a game, but it never ended up happening. Other highlights included the guy in the banana hammock who came over to our crew and asked if we would watch his stuff while he went to pick someone up...and by stuff he meant his towel and his expensive laptop computer. Who the hell trusts random strangers with a laptop? Good thing we are all nice people. Oh and the random guy who came by with his guitar to play for the non bocce playing folks was another added (strange random) bonus
