You know, when I watched Inception for the first time, I was flashed by your Eames/Arthur fangirling... so, to be honest, I didn't even read anything about what Inception really is about to prevent me from being spoiled. All I knew was that you guys LOVE Eames/Arthur.
So when I watched it, I saw Cobb together with Arthur, and was like: "DiCaprio and that cute guy with black hair? SOUNDS GOOD TO ME"
... but yeah, turned out it wasn't Cobb/Arthur. Ahahahaha I feel silly. XD but still. E/A is great! I don't really ship it, but it seems to be a deep and fun pairing to ship.
Well sorry for that much text, but it's just what popped into my mind when I saw your new design. XD; It's really neat!
Don't feel silly! I had thought everyone had seen it but me because I always arrive to fandoms late, so I was trying not to post much about the canon so much as just Eames/Arthur related stuff. ^^;
There are a lot of Cobb/Arthur shippers too! Though I personally love Cobb and Mal. <33
As for shipping, I totally get it. I don't ever actually get to ~choose~ my OTPs; they're always taking me by complete surprise and choosing ME. XD It is lots of fun to ship, though. The Inception fandom is huge and so talented and amazing; I wish I could be a bigger part of it instead of just lurking around. ^^;

Oh, I think Cobb/Arthur is cute. XD although, after watching the movie, the whole Cobb/Mal thing moved me so much on the inside that I totally forgot about that... There are a lot of Arthur/... 'that girl which name I've forgotten OTL, the young architect girl' shippers, though. I liked the scene where Arthur was all like "Kiss me", and when it didn't work he was all like "Oh well, it was worth a try. ^_^". Sneaky guy, stealing a girls (probably FIRST) kiss like that. x) And the obligatory Eames/Arthur hints were just... funny. And sexy, somehow.
WELL, I guess it's the same for everyone when it comes to OTPs! Actually, I liked Kakashi/Sasuke, and even Kakashi/Obito before I got to Kakashi/Iruka. But when I read the doujinshi from HALCO and started KakaIru rps, it totally got me... stupid, sneaky ninja totally got into my head and won't ever leave, or at least that's how it feels like. They just ~match~, like apples and shinigami. XD

Cobb/Mal is probably my favourite Inception pairing... just because it is so sad, and I love heartbreaking stories. They're so... moving! And heartbreaking! XD (yeah, that made so much sense right now

I... I'm not sure why I ever watched Naruto (curiosity?), but I got into the fandom super late, compared to almost everyone else. Years and years late. XD Which is funny, because I wasn't even halfway through the original series when I got into it, and then I discovered fandom, and that they actually had moments together, etc. I was blown away; I thought I was odd, but I should have known there would be a few other shippers. XD
I like being part of a fandom because I love reading and writing as well as drawing and looking at art; it's split pretty equal. I love being able to talk meta with people (although I don't a lot because I'm shy) as a fandom; like you said, you learn things about characters that you hadn't noticed before. It's really awesome.
