(no subject)
Lesson learned: Never ever EVER trust the word of a friend of a friend. I swear my stomach did flipflops this morning when my friend/groupmate heard from her friend that we didn't do too well in the Japanese Studies research paper. (Thinking about it now, she might have meant a collective we-as-in-entire-lecture-group and not just we-as-in-me-and-my-groupmates.) I couldn't even taste the frigging tea I was drinking (and I've paid homage to its disgusting sweetness before, methinks). The paper's worth 30% of our grade, so yeah, we really wanted it to do well.
When I collected the paper, though, we got an A-. Bloody hell, that's awesome! (Okay, trumpet-blowing, I admit. But I'm honestly just a little wee bit proud, especially for comparatively last minute work... We had the whole semester to do it, but could only get around to starting it two weeks before the deadline thanks to other lovely assignments.)
Argh. Silly friend of a friend. Making me sick like that! xO
I'm also spending way too much time on CxA and TMNT boards. I suddenly have oh-so-much to say. Gee, trying not to study, much? *stares balefully at exam prep notes*

AAAAAH! Finally! Oh, FINALLY, someone at SE has exhibited sense! Good old common we-know-Aerith's-popular-we-frigging-pimped-her-ass-in-at-least-three-different-games-yet-for-some-abominably-stupid-@$#!tard-reason-we-never-released-anything-for-her-after-AC-wtf-were-we-thinking-we're-totally-missing-out-on-easy-revenue sense!
...I loved Aerith's role in AC, but her merchandising was pathetic. I love Cloud, but I wanted the rip the intestines outta Nomura's rear end when I learned there were no new illustrations for Aerith in Reunion Files. SE has finally released something Aerith-related, and she looks oh-so-pretteh. (I never noticed how small her jacket was! It's so... cute!)
