It was running, just didn't like to have the heater and the lights on at the same time.

Sounds like my ol' Taurus! I could only have one accessory on at a time, i.e., the headlights OR the radio OR the air...
Also, the gas leak above the exhaust made driving even more exciting!

The electrical system had issues. The engine and body were rock solid.
