The McCain-Feingold regulations presented some serious problems for freedom of speech, so I see why they were struck down, but I'm glad Congress is already working to replace them with regulations that don't pose those problems. Because the last thing politics needs is more advertising and more money poured into media displays without any real substance. And the last thing (fine, one of the last few things) the economy needs is corporations wasting their money on said displays.

There has got to be some way of restricting the ability of corporations to take over political communications, without restricting the free speech of those corporations' individual leaders and employees. I just hope that way is discovered before, say, October.
