Oh Sehun.

Flashes of the accident repeated in front of him. Someone was tying him up. A few hands ripped his clothes, took his coat off, and greased him up. They were in a car. They were speeding up. And suddenly there were gunshots filling his ears. The men surrounding him was shouting something at him. They didn't look scared, they were determined. They were carrying heavy guns. And then the driver lost control of the wheel. They took a turn and soon enough they hit a wall. The impact was so huge that a few of them hit the front. He bumped his head and his body was thrown against another. Like a video was playing in his head, it played back. He saw the code, the same paper he was holding. He was giving it to Tao. He whispered something before Tao took and kept it. The scene went back again. He was in a place he doesn't remember going to after the accident. A well hidden one. He was at a higher floor where he can see everyone. There were men in suits and black with big heavy-loaded guns walked back and forth in the ground floor. And next to him was Tao, watching the rest of the men from above. The glass windows from where they were are tinted, making them invisible from everyone below.

Sehun hit his head on the glass table. And suddenly the pain subsided. He was carried back to the present. But the memories of the flashes are still there. He dialled Kai's number.

"Sehun what's wrong?" Came Kai's hushed voice.

"I remember." Sehun exclaimed, out of breath. "I remember the whole code. I know it by heart. I have the code. I know what happened at the shoot out where you found me. Someone tied me up and we crashed. I remember them now. I remember the place of the hideout." The last piece of information was the most important.

"Can you hold on to those memories? I'm coming home now." He heard Kai dashing out and a clang of the keys.

"Yes. Hurry." Sehun sounded rushed. He doesn't know why he's agitated to tell him everything now. "I know the face of the mastermind." Tao appeared in his mind.

"Calm down and I'll be there real soon." Kai cut the line before starting the engine.
Sehun put the phone down and tried to calm himself. He took deep breaths and closed his eyes. When he opened them again, he examined the writing on the back of the paper. Oh Sehun. He signed it. Why would he sign it?

"You are a diamond. Just believe that and run away." It kept ringing in his head.

He stared at the stroke of the last letter. He closed his eyes once more and he saw how he signed it. His hand moved smoothly across the paper, writing Oh Sehun in light strokes. He saw himself writing it. It kept repeating in his head, over and over. Until he felt the searing pain again. Thousands of memories came to him. It poured onto him so fast as his head ached to the point he had to shut his eyes tight. He screamed again. He felt everything coming to him one by one so fast. He saw the faces of the people in the car during his accident. He remembered all of their names. Then the code. He was writing it. He wasn't rewriting it, he was writing it afresh. From his own memory. He was writing it on his own. His own hand wrote the whole code. That's when he realized. There was no diamond. He wasn't a diamond. He wasn't forced to remember it. It wasn't his job to keep it. The 100-character code. He created it. He was...

Sehun screamed.

Kai came dashing to the door, banging it open to find a devastated Sehun on the ground. He was clutching his head, his face tear-strained.

"Sehun what is it?" He hugged him, so tight it almost didn't give Sehun space to breathe. Their heart beats both raced. Sehun couldn't speak.

"What is it Sehun? Tell me." Kai panicked at how Sehun looked, he was staring into space and out of his mind. Sehun has fear all over his eyes. It scared him so bad.

"Sehun. I'm here. Don't worry. I'm here." Kai kissed him hard on the forehead, rocking him a bit in his arms.

Sehun was scared. He doesn't know where to begin. His face was crushed between Kai's neck and shoulder, unable to open his mouth.

"Sehun." Kai called out to him.

Sehun paused to look Kai in the eyes.

"I'm not a diamond." He swallowed his sob to let the next words come out. "I'm the mastermind."

Before his own eyes, he saw the gun in his memory, the one he had always been dreaming about. He raised it towards the man in front of him. He saw the man's face. He belonged to the Japanese party. There were a few heartbeats, and he pulled the trigger. But nothing happened. The man begged for mercy, and Sehun lowered his gun. He smiled coldly at the limping man in front of him before turning towards the person behind him. His sharp eyes looked back at him. Tao waited for an order. Sehun opened his mouth.

"You know what to do."

Tao just looked directly into his eyes. "Kill."

Sehun turned around and raised his gun again. A shot echoed in the warehouse. But it didn't come from him, it came from Tao behind him. The man has fallen.

Sehun's eyes widened as he was brought back to the present.

"I am the head. I am the boss. All this time. I'm who you're looking for.”

The hands that caressed him froze. Silence passed and Sehun could clearly hear the ticking of the clock in the room. His heart pounded hard in his chest. He didn't realize he stopped crying and all he could hear now is his shallow breaths. For a second, he felt himself stop breathing. Kai let go of him. He dreaded it. He forced his eyes to look at him, unsure of what to see. There was shock, disbelief, and anxiety in his face. What broke his heart more is the pursing of Kai's lips, was it a look of disgust? Sehun looked away and the moment he closed them he felt hot tears gushing out rapidly from them. He should have expected it. He was stupid for thinking otherwise. They can never be. No matter what the feelings shared between them before were, there's no excuse to this. They can never be.

He is a cop. He is a criminal. He tried to protect him all his life. Until he is found out. He is who he was protecting. He has been protecting him from himself.

Kai's eyes continued to stare at Sehun. What has he done? He couldn't believe it. Was he stupid? He made another wrong decision. He looked away from Sehun and suddenly everything was falling into place.

Sehun's the reason why the syndicate never tried violence. Why they didn't shoot that day that they chased them. Why they keep appearing whenever Sehun is in danger. They were keeping him alive, without Sehun knowing, without him knowing, in hopes of getting him back. He looked at Sehun and he knew they were in the same page. Sehun realized it just as Kai had. It dawned unto him as to why Tao saved him a few times. It all came back to him now. Tao is his right hand, and they treated each other like brothers. When his family started this illegal negotiation with other parties, he met Tao. When they passed away, he took charge with a promise to keep the business alive. Tao had been there, he had always been there. Beside him, guiding him, protecting him. In fact he is the one who came up with the idea of Sehun not showing himself to his men. No one else has seen his face apart from Tao and his private men. These men he had been riding with in the car that incident in the warehouse where Kai first found him. Tao told him it was safer to remain anonymous to the members of the syndicate. He'll hold much power and authority over them. But Sehun knew it wasn't all about that. Sehun knows Tao was also protecting him.

"You are a diamond. Just believe that and run away." Even after the accident, he is still protecting him.

Kai moved away from him, rashly running a hand on his hair. He stood and hit the wall hard, catching his breath. Sehun was left on the floor, staring on the ground. After what it felt like a lifetime, Kai turned to him with a look of worry. Worry, that's what he sees. It's different from the face he had on earlier.

"Did everything come back to you?" He asked softly. Sehun nodded, biting back the tears. What has he realized? Did he realize everything was a mistake?

"How are you?" Kai bent down to him with a gentle gaze. He picked him up by the shoulders and dragged him over to the couch, seating him next to him.

Sehun found the right words to say. "Kai I--" He looked down. "I will turn myself in."

"No."

He found Kai's eyes staring off to space. His weariness is more evident from his side profile. He traced his nose, his lips, the outline of his jaw with his gaze.

"This is your d-dream." He stuttered, controlling his voice not to waver. "I can point you to the syndicate once you've captured me."

"No."

"Kai." Sehun was begging. It tears his heart into pieces seeing Kai debate with himself. He knows he wants nothing else but to finish this. Unfortunately it had to end this way.

"No Sehun." There was an edge to his voice. He buried his face in his hands in frustration. "You are not the syndicate alone. You are not turning yourself in. You can help us, but you're not going. I will never allow that. Never."

"But I'm the one you've been after. I led that syndicate. I was behind it." Tears glistened in his eyes as his voice rose.

"So what?" Kai threw his hands away. "You are not that person anymore!" He growled. Something is driving him to the edge, something is definitely making him mad.

Sehun fell silent at that. "You wouldn't know."

"I know." Kai closed his eyes. "I just know." He leaned on the couch and rested his head on it. "Didn't I tell you I will do everything to protect you?"

"I don't want you to go against your will just because of some promise you mistakenly made. I see regret in your eyes, if you could turn back time you'd rather never meet--"

"The only thing I regret right now is the fact that I took that new case in the hope of getting you under a tighter security and protection that I couldn't provide." Kai growled beside him. He buried his face in his hands once more.

"What do you mean?"

"They pulled me out. They forced me to pull out from this case and I allowed them to." Kai pressed his face into his palms harder.

"I thought if I did, you'd be in the best hands. The American police will be protecting you in exchange for my taking the other case."

It took the both of them a few seconds for the news to sink in. Sehun then understood why Kai looked that way earlier. It wasn't because he regretted getting involved with him, it was because he gave Sehun away thinking only of his welfare. He gave him away in the hope of keeping him safely.

"I thought it was the best decision to make." Kai blamed himself. "But it's only putting you in more danger. If they find out..." He trailed off, not wanting to put an image to his thoughts.

Suddenly it struck Sehun what Kai's dilemma is. He is not just protecting him from the syndicate and the Japanese party now, but from the police force as well.

"You're out of the case?" Sehun felt fear run down his back. If he can't be involved in the case anymore then it only means one thing. He's alone in this now.

Kai showed regret in his eyes. The fear was slowly spreading in Sehun's system, making him sit there in silence swimming in thoughts of scary incidents waiting for him. Like a magnet, it pulled Kai into it too. The feeling enveloping both of them. Kai hugged Sehun, the kind that says he will never leave. That it's okay. But it's not okay.

"Kai." Sehun whispered against his collar. "Why won't you turn me in?" There are lots of questions in his head, but somehow he needs that assurance from Kai. If he still holds his promise even after the truth had unfold.

"I told you. The one I love is the Sehun now. I don't care about your past, you've changed. I am not letting you go, even if it means I'm going against my principles." Kai caressed his back before tightly wrapping his arms at his back.

It was the last night they'll be with. Kai told him that the next day Sehun will have to move out together with the higher officials from America. Kai asked him to keep the truth from everyone for the meantime. It was to keep Sehun's identity for the time being. He didn't worry about anyone else finding out. Sehun had told him it was only him and Tao who knew about it. He had told him about Tao. Everything about him. He was convinced the syndicate will not do anything to him, not when everyone of them is working under Tao's orders. But it still made Kai uneasy, knowing that Tao would want him back. He would never allow that, Sehun can't go back to his life before. He's a new man, and he will lead him farther away from his past. And a small of part of him, and he doesn't deny it, doesn't want him to find Tao again in case he takes him away from him. Being selfish aint a big deal among all the other problems they're facing in their situation now anyway.

Kai took Sehun to his arms, wrapping them around him from behind as they laid next to each other in bed. His breath tickled the back of his head and Sehun only cuddled closer to him.

"What would have happened if I didn't lose my memory back then and we faced each other?" Sehun asked in barely a whisper. Kai turned him to let him face him. He ran a finger down his cheek. After recalling everything, it was clear that the private men he was with during that /accident/ made him look like a diamond. They tied his hands and damaged his clothes to hide the fact that he is the boss. The plan was to pretend that he was forced to work for them in case they get caught, but he lost his memory in the accident and there was suddenly no need for a plan. He found himself not knowing who he was in the first place.

"Shhh." Kai placed a finger on his lips. "What didn't happen doesn't matter." He whispered back a reply. "You couldn't sleep?"

The younger shook his head. It felt weird having a lot of information processed in his head. His memories kept flashing when he closes his eyes, and he fears that when he wakes up Kai is nowhere near him anymore.

"I don't want to sleep." He mumbled honestly.

Kai understands him. He feels the same way after all.

"Don't worry for tomorrow. Even if I'm not by your side, I will always be looking out for you." He planted a kiss on his forehead causing the younger to cuddle in closer. He was determined to close any gap between them tonight, if it means that he will never be this close to him once he wakes up.

"Keep me awake, Kai."

Kai brushed his hair away from his eyes with his thumb. Getting the message, he placed his lips on top of his. The kisses they shared were sweet and gentle, it didn't suggest any other feeling. They stayed like that for hours, the need to feel each other closer lingered for like a lifetime. Sehun didn't want Kai to go, and Kai wouldn't want to either if he didn't have to. He stepped down to give him the best protection there is. As long as they keep his identity safe, then Sehun is safe. He slipped in a tongue that lightly traced the sides and curves of Sehun's lips. Sehun felt lightheaded as Kai pulled him to deepen the kiss. Their noses touched, their shoulders almost bumping each other. It was slow and all Sehun ever wanted. He sighed in contentment against Kai's lips while his eyes drooped in weariness. Kai noticed it and rolled over to him, not disconnecting at all. He brushed his thumb at the side of his face as he kissed the conscious Sehun away to sleep. Soon his face relaxed and fell into a deep slumber. Kai stopped, backing a few inches away to take a good look at his face. Who would have thought this face would have a dark past? He hovered him for a few more seconds, before brushing his lips on his again. He pecked him quickly and smiled worriedly.

"Goodnight Sehun."

Kai faced the ceiling. He played all the things that happened as soon as he stepped foot in Korea. That time he first met Sehun, unconscious on the ground. How he thought he was some challenge for him he definitely could take up. How slowly he developed feelings for his own subject. He can't believe that the man in his arms is the key to his dream many weeks ago. But it changed. Sehun isn't just a key anymore. He is his dream now.

The soft wind blew into the room. A warm yet cool gentle breeze woke Sehun up. And as he slowly opens his eyes, he finds himself alone. No sign of Kai, no trace of him in the house. He padded across the hall checking corners where Kai might be. But he knows he's only fooling himself doing that. Kai has gone. He's alone now. He walked back to his room, Kai's. Picking up the pillow they have shared over the night, he hugged it closer to his chest. There might not be any sign of Kai beside him now, but the trace of his lips still lingers on his. He lifts his finger up to his bottom lip. He has not felt any safer with anyone else, he only feels the safest when he's with Kai. He curled up slowly into a ball. He has changed him so much.

"They have moved Sehun to a tightly-secured hotel." A local higher official, an older man, informed Kai. He knows of Kai's different treatment of the case, thus his knowledge of how Kai feels for Sehun, even though he hasn't said anything.

"They think housing him in an apartment is low." Kai muttered bitterly.

"They know of your capabilities, Kai." The old man put a hand on his shoulder comfortingly. "They believe in you. It's just that, in this case you act differently. Maybe they just don't understand you."

"That's why they forced me to pull out."

"They gave you another chance." He corrected.

"Sehun needs me." Kai clenched a fist. It all comes down to Sehun. All his frustrations, his anger, they all come from having been separated from him.

"Sehun would want you to go for your dream." The old man says wisely. Kai looks up at him and he saw the knowing encouraging nod he gave him.

"The dream is not within your commander's hands. Going for it is up to you." He pat him once more before turning his back to head for his office.

Kai looked at his back as he walked away before he stopped midway and turned to look at him again. "Agent Park told me to tell you that last bit." And he went on.

Kai placed himself in two different shoes. Would he work on this new assignment or stick around for Sehun? What did Chanyeol mean about going for his dream is his own choice? Didn't his commanders give him no choice? He stared at his mobile phone, a picture of Sehun displayed on the screen from the folder "Current Case & Involved People". Under his picture is a label "Subject: Diamond". Sehun is not a diamond. He recalls. Maybe he met Sehun to be able to change him. Maybe he is the key to Sehun's life. Maybe the gods of fate had made him Sehun's diamond. The key to his new life. Kai pinched the bridge of his nose. It feels like he really is the diamond. Because he holds the truth about Sehun. And he's determined to keep it for as long as he could.

An hour before Kai goes to a meeting about his new case, an alarm swept past the office. A call from the sent US police came and the chief, the same guy who advised Kai that time, came ordering more of his people to a certain location. Kai runs to him, he just had the feeling he needs to know.

"Sir, what happened?" He cornered him at one point and the old man did not in any way deny anything to him.

"Sehun has been abducted." He told him honestly. "By the Japanese dealers."

Kai's look hardened as he mustered his energy to say in a strong tone. "I'm going after him."

He swiftly turned to run but the chief held him back. He looked back at him with disbelieving eyes.

The chief tightened his grip on his arm before saying, "Go. That's an order."

Kai nodded gratefully and he ran out of the office to where Sehun is.

He ended up in a secluded place. It's just another of the abandoned warehouses in the city. He was told Sehun was taken the morning, and all he could think of, no, his mind tells him, that he is in there.

He pulled out his gun and circled the building. Even though he went alone, he didn't care anymore. His only concern is Sehun and Sehun alone. He hid himself behind blocks of unused boxes. The warehouse used to be a stockhouse. He moved around in shadows, dashing out of one block into another. He heard footsteps and he pressed himself firmly onto the one covering him. When he took a peek, that's where he saw him. Sehun, limping as a Japanese man holds his by the arms. A large group of Japanese men stayed still behind them. A gun pointing towards Sehun's chest. And to Kai's big surprise, in front of them is another just as large group. The syndicate. It all made sense to Kai. This is the syndicate's hideout place. The Japanese dealers took Sehun when they had the chance to trade with the syndicate. In exchange for the money they owe them. They don't know about Sehun's identity, but they must have felt how important he is to them.

"Give us the safe and let this boy open it for us." The one holding Sehun threatened. A tall man, the one standing at the middle of the other group stepped forward.

Tao. He must be Tao, Kai recognized him.

"Release him, and I can give you the code myself." Tao bargained. The dealers however did not take it.

"The safe before the boy. That's all we need." He made his tone clear that the other party has no right to give conditions.

Kai came closer to the two groups in the dark. He positioned his gun, ready to shoot at the man holding Sehun. Tao gritted his teeth. His men waited for an order.

"We've gotten rid of the safe long ago." It seemed real. Sehun looked up at Tao.

That night, before the accident, before the shootout that happened between the police and the accident, when Sehun was getting enough of it, he told Tao, "Let's get rid of the safe. Let's finish this business and stop with this."

Tao looked at him unbelievably. "After all that we've worked hard for? Aren't you doing this for your parents? Aren't we avenging them?"

Sehun looked scared at Tao's eyes. Tao had been strong, always so strong behind him. He led him to his life, making him strong like him. He had led him to become the boss of his own mafia, it was all due to Tao's egging at him. But sometimes, Sehun feels it's enough. He isn't happy anymore but Tao doesn't understand him. They fought about it a lot of times, but Tao is persistent. He had been a sincere brother to Sehun, but they have different views of life. Especially now, that Sehun was woken up by Kai.

Sehun looked directly at Tao. Surprise filled his eyes. If Tao really had gotten rid of the safe, did it mean he followed Sehun's advice for once? Does it mean he's letting go of the syndicate and stopping all the crimes they've done? Does it mean his opinion matter to Tao? There was a happy glint in Sehun's eyes, as tears started to form as well. Tao didn't look at him. That's a sign of confirming that Tao had really changed. He definitely is following Sehun's advice.

"Bull." The Japanese spat. "If you don't have the safe anymore then that means I can finish this boy--"

A gunshot echoed in the hall and the man holding Sehun fell to the ground, releasing Sehun as he falls back too. Kai had shot the man from a blind spot. All hell broke loose. Tao's men fired towards the Japanese men while the other group did too. Tao lurched forward to grab Sehun but the Japanese dealer nearest him was quicker. He pulled Sehun up and placed the gun to his head.

"C'mon. Shoot and I'll kill him. Shoot!" He dragged Sehun to the middle and Tao held his hand to stop the others from shooting.

"Shoot!" He mocked.

"Boss, he's just a diamond." Someone called from behind Tao but he ignored him.

The Japanese kept dragging Sehun away from the syndicate. They were leaving.

Sehun's face had a horrified look, and Tao could not do anything. He looked back to his men before spotting Kai from behind the nearest box. Kai eyed him for a moment and he understood before Tao nodded with a slight movement of his head.
Kai positioned himself to shoot at the new guy holding Sehun, taking advantage of him being hidden. He took one last glance at Tao and that's when Tao cried, "Now!"

Kai shot the man beside Sehun, and the other. He shot every random man running towards him. Tao did the same, running forward to get Sehun, his men behind him shooting as well. Kai had reached the syndicate's form and they united into fighting the Japanese criminals. He didn't take his eyes off of Sehun. Sehun crawled away from his pursuers when Tao had reached him and he pulled him away, covering him from any possible shot directed at them. They heard the sound of the police coming and that's when the shooting broke out. Everyone scrambled to run, the Japanese men hurrying towards the exit.

Tao had Sehun in a lock position, when someone behind him had struck a gun towards Sehun. Kai, having been eyeing him all this time, pushed himself up and ran too fast to get to him first. Kai ran all his might, and threw himself at Sehun. The gun popped, and Kai fell down hard, successfully blocking Sehun's way. Tao was too late to realize what had happened when Sehun picked up the gun from Kai's hand. He raised it with two hands and shot the man dead. The impact made him let go of the firearm and he immediately crouched next to Kai. There was blood oozing out from the side of his stomach.

"Kai." He cried out. Tao finished the other men before running back to Sehun.

"Kai." Sehun felt tears running down his face. Kai was wincing in pain.

"Hold still, the police is here." Tao informed him. They locked eyes and Kai realized how much Sehun meant to the both of them.

"Sehun." Kai turned to him, his breath hitching as he speaks. "Let your friend go."

Tao's eyes widened in surprise.

"Let him go." Kai could barely speak as he breathes deeply in pain.

Sehun held Kai's hands tightly as he cried. He looked up at Tao. "Run." He told him.

"Run!" Sehun ordered him.

Tao looked at Sehun, then to Kai and back to Sehun.

"How about you?"

"I'm staying." Sehun clasped Kai's hands tightly to his.

Tao nodded in understanding.

"Run and be a different person, Tao." Sehun cracked a smile on his crying face.

Tao nodded once more. And as the police neared the doors, he set out to run.

Sehun looked back at Kai. "Hold on."

Kai smiled a little beneath the pain. "Sehun."

"Hm?" Sehun tried to stop sobbing.

"Don't ever... hold a gun anymore." He chuckled lightly and winced in pain.

Sehun shook his head in agreement. "I won't anymore."

An ambulance came and Kai blacked out with his hand still clasped with Sehun's.

They walked together in the airport. It's been three days after Kai had been out of the hospital. He's off to a new case in China, the one he missed when he went to save Sehun.

Kai has been promoted. They captured the syndicate, and the Japanese drug dealers, with his help. The police looked for the safe, but it turned out the safe is not there. As Tao had said it might have been destroyed long ago. The police still don't understand where their boss is but the syndicate won't tell them anything. For now they settled for the fact that they had stopped the transactions going on behind them. Kai never said anything about Sehun's identity. They made things up about how Sehun used to be a diamond, and they stuck up with that idea giving nothing away about Tao in Sehun's request. Kai agreed on it anyway.

"That time you ran towards me, what were you thinking?" Sehun walked slowly with Kai in the airport, fingers intertwined with each other.

"Just you." Kai replied coolly as he dragged his luggage beside him.

"How about your case? How about your dream? Did you give up on them?" Sehun inquired curiously. He had never been this happy. But the fact that Kai is leaving again made a little lurch in his stomach.

"My dream is not with my commander's grasp." Kai stopped in front of him. "You are my dream now. Going for it is my choice."

He looked at him lovingly before letting go of his luggage and cupping Sehun's face. They smiled tenderly and Kai closed the gap between them with a kiss.

Kai broke apart and stared at his eyes. He will miss him the most. He did not want to leave but he has to. He stepped back, giving him enough space to breathe.

"So." He said with a final tone. "This is goodbye, Sehun?"

Sehun bit his lip and stopped his emotions. He really is leaving then. He tears up a little.

Kai chuckled. He punched him by the arm. "A man doesn't cry." He said teasingly.

Sehun took a deep breath and smiled. "Maybe not."

"Uhm." Kai nodded at him with a smile. "I'm going." He raised an eyebrow before turning his back to leave.

Sehun watched his back. He was really leaving. He stared at his retreating figure as busy people swarm before him. Kai was disappearing in a sea of people. Sehun let out a broken smile with a tear in his eye.

Like a magic in his ears, Chanyeol's voice echoed in his thoughts.

"Are you going to let him go just like that?"

It was during their conversation the night before. Sehun thought it over.

"Would you really, Oh Sehun?" He asks himself. He heaved a deep sigh.

He remembered what Kai told him. "You are my dream now. Going for it is my choice."

Maybe it wouldn't hurt if he follows his principle this time. He looked up and saw Kai a good distance away from him. He changed his mind. He needs to stop Kai.

Sehun ran as fast as he could, weaving through moving bodies. He has almost reached him. He paused and clenched his fist. He is going to do it. He ran towards Kai, calling him out.

Kai turned around just in time when Sehun planned to hug him tight. But as he turned the other way, Sehun missed him by a few inches and he fell flat, face on the cold airport floor.

"Ouch." Sehun mumbled against the hard tile.

Kai laughed before pulling him up. He was so red in the face.

"What were you doing?" Kai asked, erupting in hysterics of laughter.

"I was going to stop you!" Sehun accused him as if it's his fault that he fell.

"Stop me from what?" Kai asked.

"From leaving." Sehun crossed his arms and sulked. "Are you really just going to leave me like that?!"

Kai shook his head in amusement. "What are you talking about?"

"You're going to China for good. And you just settle for a goodbye with me?" He sounded hurt. Kai's smile widened.

"I'm going to be in China for 2 days." He laughed a bit. "By the time I get back you should be ready."

"Huh?" Sehun pouted, taking in the information slower than the usual.

"I said get ready. Because when I get home from China, we'll be moving to America." Little creases at the side of his eyes appeared.

Sehun stared at him in shock.

"We?" He said blankly.

The smile on Kai's face vanished and was replaced by doubt. "I thought you wanted to."

Sehun smacked his arm. "Are you stupid?! I would love to!" He threw himself at Kai and hugged him. Kai let his head fall back as he laughed before pulling him for another kiss.

Maybe Sehun is really a diamond to Kai. Because he holds his heart and he doesn’t plan to let it go… maybe even after forever.

kai, sehun, safe (lost memory), sekai
