Would it really have been too much trouble to give a little warning?
I just finished scrubbing the hallway down. Our hallway that has been in desperate need of a scrubbing for about two months now, what with two teenagers (myself and my sister), four adults (three of which smoke), and four cats running all over it.
So today I go and arm myself with a sponge to finally try and get rid of the layers upon layers of grime that have begun construction of their own itelligent civilization.
I'm about half-way thorugh with the war and making good progress when a sudden, unexpected attack from a previously considered unrelated third party comes from the rear.
In other words: my twenty-year-old sister (who has been walking back and forth from the hall I'm working on and the living room since I started) is suddenly standing there with keys and her purse. Her and the guest/live-in person who sleeps on our couch have errands! That they've known about all day.
Seriously, would it have been too much trouble for my sister to say, I don't know, "Hey, sis, we're going out in a bit. You might want to wait on that."
I would have gone: "sure, no problem! 8D" And I wouldn't have ended up with giant splotches of dirt, clumped mud, and other bits of earth all over the previously shiny and sparkly floor I'd just finished cleaning. Add on another ten-fifteen minutes of extra work to get all of that cleared up and as shiny as before and you have one very disgruntled person over here. Just...a little warning. Really. It would have been appreciated.
