(no subject)
Right now, we're back in NOLA from Arkansas. We jetted down here yesterday cutting the vacay short, and made it in about 2:00 am. Once we got to about Jackson, MS the traffic on the other side got heavy.
We had to come back because the animals are here, and we didn't know if the house-sitter had a way out of town (turns out he did).
Don't know what we're doing yet. I have nearly a full tank of gas, and the car has been doing beautifully, although it doesn't like being loaded down. So we can get out if we need to. But by all reports the traffic is incredibly bad right now.
We also have food and water, and friends with a secured house and a generator and more food. We may stay. If we do leave we'll leave late as possible, because the roads appear to be a nightmare from what I'm hearing. We'll go back to Arkansas if we go.
