We've decided that unless things change significantly between now and approx 7 pm (dusk) we are staying.
We have resources, we have friends here, we will be in a strong house in the sliver that is boarded up, has all iron grilles and has been here since Audubon Park was founded (it was originally the caretaker's house). We will have a generator and good company.
Helen is staying also, she is also safe in a strong house with friends and resources.
My neighbor is a firefighter; he said there are already National Guard, EMS, and firefighters in place, meeting at the Convention Center. We expect that they will spread out through the city and keep a lid on any potential bullshit activities.
I have a full tank of gas and can get the fuck if need be, and we have a place to go.
