Decepticons forever!
Finally, my geekiness pays off. Specifically at the Superhero-flavored UP All Night event at the student union.
UP standing for Underdog Productions. Hence the outfits.
We got second place in the superhero trivia contest, losing to some other guys by only one question. Thankfully the winners were idiots who chose the dorky plastic lightsabers over anything of actual value, leaving us with the good stuff. Gary/Captain Hammer shows off our spoils--three Batman The Animated Series DVDs.
And here I am in my 'done in five minutes' Soundwave costume, which took second place in the costume contest and netted me a "Wolverine and the X-Men" DVD. I think this counts as my first official cosplay.

Harley and Ivy with runner-up Catwoman. I think this may have turned out to be more of an "inspired by" set of costumes rather than anyone dressing up in accurate spandex. The only other contestants were Gary (who you've seen) and some random guy in a black domino mask who only there for the lulz.
