News. Sort of.
I'm in a worse financial condition than I previously thought. Am promising self to get a part-time job so that I can at least have a decent meal. At least once a day. Well, I can still actually manage with instant noodles..... Really have to find a part-time job that's reachable from where I live since I don't have a car. *sigh*
Am thinking about living. Rather, for a place to. My cousin's moving out of the house somewhere around October, and I won't be able to afford paying the rent on my own. So I have two choices:
a. find someone to replace my cousin
b. move somewhere else affordable
And I really, really dislike the second option. I like my current living place; it's near City and just a walk away to McD, KFC, Hungry Jack and Chicken Treat (isn't that convenient?). And it's cheap. $65 per week including water. Even my cousin suggested that I keep the place. But I'm worried about having a new housemate. It's about tidiness. A proper housemate (for me) should, at the very least, do his/her dishes immediately after s/he's done eating. Having dirty plates all over the place just won't do -__- Oh, and one strict rule: NO smoker. Having to stand near a smoker and smell the leftover-smell of cigar on his/her clothes suffocates me. Am not going to live with one.
I admit it requires 20 minutes to get to Curtin. Namely 10-15 minutes walking and 5-10 minutes journey on the bus. But hey, having exercise (a walk) 20 minutes a day is nice. And it has a proven result. My cousin has been gaining fat, whereas I'm not. FYI, my cousin only has 1 subject this semester, so she only gets out of the house for her class. And to buy grocery. And usually her boyfr- sorry, fiancee, picks her up from uni so she doesn't have to walk home.
Whereas I always walk home, often at midnight -__- During winter. (am considering the option to set up a camp at uni).
Sooo..... assignment's all done, I only need to prepare for the final exam. The only impression left from the assignment is fatigue. My head has been spinning despite me having enough sleep. Should go to sleep early tonight. If my resolution stand strong, I'll start studying tomorrow. IF.
And I have been thinking about the living place matter. When my cousin moves out, I'll lose:
- computer
- microwave
- dining-wares
Dining-wares and microwave doesn't matter that much, it can be managed. I can pay her for the fridge and washing machine if I have the money, I guess... but what for if I'm moving out? Am really, really hoping that I can find a housemate....
Computer.... I guess I can bring parts of it from Jakarta and build it on my own. Am just hoping someone will be around to teach me how. And tell me what parts I should bring to build a complete computer -_-
And I think I know why this song appeals to me so much. The guitar seems to be saying "Bond. James Bond." Especially thr first few notes.
