Who: Sanada Genichirou, Kirihara Akaya
What: regather
When: 11 March
Where: Kiri’s room
Sanada was still so worried. He had already gotten his answer over the school internet system. Akaya was okay. But he still needed to come and get him. To see for himself that he was all right.
The Kendo captain had said three minutes. He had gotten to the door in two. He had run there, even with the aftershocks tossing the earth under his feet. As another hit, he took hold of the door knob and when it subsided, he knocked, trying not to have it sound desperate. "Ayaka...."
"I'm here", Akaya said, trying to sound not too scared by all the aftershocks that still hit them. When would that finally stop? Akaya was glad that Sanada was finally here. He was safe now for sure.
He pushed the door open and came inside to look at the other boy. He was sure the sigh he heaved was audible as was the relief that overtook his face. Shirou was okay. He was outside, where it was safe. And now Akaya was safe and in his sight. Everything was going to be okay now. "Oh....thank god...." He came towards the other and reached out to lightly touch the other's face. "Thank God you're all right."
Now that Sanada was there Akaya finally relaxed at least a bit and all the fear he had felt came up again and soon Akaya pressed himself against Sanada's chest, crying, though he still tried to secure his left wrist that he had hurt so badly.
The kendo captain blinked and hugged the smaller man to him, so gently. His hands soothing down the other's back, rocking him. He was scared too, but he wasn't going to allow himself to show it. He needed to remain strong. Everyone was going to need him to be as strong as he possibly could. He would fall apart later...alone...when all this was all over.
"....Just let it out. I'm here now...it'll be okay." Though right now, he wasn't so sure about that.
"Don't leave me again Senpai. Please.....", Akaya cried. He had been so scared that Sanada might have been hurt.
"I won't. I won't let you out of my sight until this is over. I promise." He pushed the other away and his hands automatically started to run over the other's body. He was checking for any wounds. Anything. He stopped when he noticed the arm.
Akaya looked at his wrist as well as he noticed Sanada's look. "I.... guess it's broken", he murmured almost used to the pain because of his inner devil.
"Broken?!" The worry was back. He kept himself from yelling at the younger man for lying to him about being okay over the net. If he started now, he wouldn't have ended it. Keep calm....count to ten.... "You have bandages?"
Akaya knew that Sanada probably was angry at him. He knew the other long enough to know when he was angry at him. "Yes I found them. They are over there", he nodded at his bed where some bandages lay.
He moved away. He went to the bed and picked them up and then turned around. He went and pointed to the ground next to him in a near command. "Akaya...here."
"hai", Akaya sighed and knew he should better do what Sanada wanted now. So he sat down next to the other obediently.
Sanada nodded and smiled a little. He knelt before the other, taking one knee in front of the younger. He took the bandages and started at the elbow. "The Disiplinary Committee will be rounded up the injured and get them to doctors. You'll go." It was not a request.
Akaya nodded keeping his eyes to the ground. "Yes sir", he murmured without even thinking what he was saying.
With great care, he started to wrap the broken limb. He had patched himself up before after he had gotten hurt, even if he had never broken a bone in his life. He tried to be very careful around the wrist area, holding it so gently as he wrapped. "You should have told me....I would have brought better supplies."
"I'm sorry... I was so shocked... that I didn't really felt the pain. I thought it was just sprained", Akaya admitted.
He nodded. He knew Akaya had a high thresh-hold of pain. He still worried enough. "Ah...it's fine...And this will do for now." He finished the wrapping and tied the bandages. "And I will keep my promise. I'll be with you when the doctor takes care of this."
Akaya nodded slightly and tried to smile at Sanada but failed. "I'm so glad that you're here..."
Sanada lightly went to tip Akaya's chin up a little and placed the most chaste kiss on his lips. "I'm here...and you're safe."
"I love you", Akaya murmured. he had to feeling that he had to say it now or he perhaps wouldn't be able to say it again.
He smiled just slightly. It was strange, but he meant it. "Ah." He murmured and lightly hugged Akaya to him. "I...love you too." He whispered
Akaya was glad as he heard this. He knew that Sanada meant it so he snuggled into the other's embrace. "Can I.... stay at your place tonight....?"
"Remember..." He whispered. "I'm not letting you out of my sight." Which meant that Sanada was going to let Akaya away from him even for a moment.
this assured Akaya and he sighed glad. That meant he could stay with Sanada. Then it wouldn't be as frightening living through these aftershocks.
Sanada put a hand on Akaya's back as another aftershock hit. He kept the younger steady though the worst of it. "Let's go outside....It's time to round up everyoen and start head count."
Akaya yelped slightly as another aftershock hit them and clung to Sanada. "Yeah.... let's get out", he murmured, just wanted to get away.
He carefully led the other towards the door out. "Just be calm. I have you...I won't let anything happen to you."
"Thank you... Genichirou", Akaya murmured almost too silent to be heard.
He carefully led the younger man outside and into the light, where his dog would rush to greet them both. And tonight, they would sleep together in the kendo dojo. it was the safest, most stable place he knew.
With a slighty relieved smile Akaya got to his knees to greet Shiro, glad that nothing happened to the dog.
Sanada watched on, relief still on his face. That which he loved was okay. He could be scard later. For now, everything was okay with his world.
And if Sanada would let him then Akaya would be there for him just as Sanada was there for Akaya right now.
The large man carefully put his hand upon the smaller's back. "You ready then? Let's go and find everyone."
Akaya looked up and nodded slightly. "Yes I'm ready", he murmured and got up again. He was carefully not to leave Sanada's side
