To celebrate Emily's birthday we watched Requiem for a Dream.
Bad choice.
Considering I've already been in my head a lot this week I really don't think I should have watched it.
It was so good though.
So good in fact that I'm coming back over tomorrow to eat Birthday Cake and watch it again. Maybe twice; I want to hear the commentary.
Ultimately I was glad I went to the Livingroom.
Sorry I acted kind of mopey. I was just in my head a lot.
I honestly was happy to be there.
(Plus, it was Madeline's first show ever. Awesome. Next I'm transitioning her over to Dry River shows.)
And sorry I've been so crazy all week. And all last week.
It's nothing relating to anyone. I just need a little time to process things.
Today is Emily's birthday.
We are dumpster-diving, cutting hair, playing our intruments badly (flute, broken guitar, harmonica), swimming, watching movies and baking cakes.
I love life.
Tonight I get to see Thom. Woaaah weird.
At Ace's birthday show tonight I'm seeing Riley.
Sunday I'm seeing Wilson, and hopefully someone else?
