this was my second "costume" for halloween. I was a candy raver at rubulad, this huge warehouse party, insane amounts of people, mad good music, art on every square inch of the place, more decorations than i've ever seen in my life, and lights and sweat and rain. totally a night i'll never forget.
this was my bag for that party
this was my party for the frist costume party, i was the dude from big lebowski, ian(far right) and chris(second from left) were the military industrial complex(haliburon and the defense budget) james was ron burgendy, and tully(ians bro) was clarke kent.
i took somewhere around 5 hours, maybe more on a waffle costume, and it ruled. I walked in the parade up 6th ave full of fire crackers and whiskey, with people yelling I FUCKING LOVE WAFFLES and LEGO MY EGO, YO WAFFLE MAN WHERES THE SYRUP
halloween is just fucking nuts in nyc. pure debauchery. drugs, fake identities, lowered social inhibitions, mad crazy fun. ive done so much shit recently, its crazy. i'm adapting to nyc and it feels good. like i'm taking this place's style, examining it, seeing the good in it, and then flowing with it in my own way, with aspects of where i come from and where i am now meshed together. or its like i can feel the atmosphere here working its way into my pattern, filling in the gaps but leaving more room to be filled in
our common room kicks ass
we painted the kiddie drum set from k-mart
things are so much more crazy this year! its so awesome, everything is more, theres just more of everything, which is how i always described nyc, now its worked its way into the way i live...
