I'm walking down the line that divides me somewhere in my mind

What an eventful weekend I had. First off, let me tell you how much my job sucks and I hate waking up in the morning to drive to it because I'm not making any money whatsoever!! I know it's not their fault. I knew going in that this would never amount to a full-time or even long-term job. But I would be happy with at least 20 hours to just keep me happy for the time being.

Anyhoo, I've been hanging with Krystna a lot this weekend because we've been hanging with her new boyfriend around town. Who I might add, likes to VIP-it all the way. Can't complain. Free drinks and nice perks, even in the south side is pretty sweet. But the downside is I've been hungover all weekend. Thursday we went to our usual spot but without the usual suspects who decided to stay home and rest. So it was just me Krys. Friday night we hung out and saw this awesome cover band, Fabulous Janes. The normal four were there to start off, but later me Krys left to meet other people. Saturday night we had planned to hit Ontourage. I was not at all looking forward to it because I was just really tired and worn out. But I promised Krys I'd go with her and I even drove. She paid for everything though, so that's another reason I went. Why not, ey? My car got bumped from behind while in line for valet, but fortunately there was no damage at all. Thank god because I would have died. After paying the $20 cover charge, it was crowded as fuck there and I couldn't see a single thing thanks to smoke machines and weird lighting. I couldn't even move and there were tons of sleazy looking guys. I have been there before for a benefit that the Red Streak sponsored, but there was no where near as many people and we were upstairs. We found her friends and decided this place sucked, but none of us were going to leave considering the cover charge we paid. Somehow we ended upstairs in the VIP lounge and everything started to look up. We had a booth and bottle service and just chilled. Not lots of fun, but a good time. Then we ended up at Rive Gauche, which was another $20 to get in but yet seemed worth it in a way because it was very swanky and comfortable. Very classy and not as crowded. I would definitely go back, especially now that I know there is a guest list where we can get in for free. Needless to say, the night was good and memorable. I got home around 8am and called it a night. Sunday night I was dragged to the Elbo Room and saw this band "Adam and the Go Comets" who ended up being really really good. I was very impressed at the energy the lead singer has. A Billy Joe Armstrong in training.

I've been taking it easy since my jammed packed weekend. This coming weekend won't be as exciting and I'm just fine with that. Tina just heard today that they are getting their apartment and will probably even move in this Friday. It will be nice to have a place to chill instead of staying home. Now I just need my own place and I will be right as rain. I'm still exercising a few times a week, but I need to start watching what I eat. That's my biggest problem. But fast food is just so much cheaper than eating healthy. That's so wrong in so many ways. Healthy food should be cheap too.
