I won't let that happen. I've been training. The idiot made a deck like that opponent's, and I've been fighting it over and over.
After that rematch, I'll accept it. But I'm still our strongest weapon. And if you bench me every time someone runs anti-LIGHT decks, every opponent will realize this and use them. It would be the same as simply taking me off the team. Everyone would simply side-deck the cards. We need to show that we will crush anything in our way, no matter what tricks are used against us. Even if it's only that one time, and I'm benched every time after that, it will stick in our enemies' minds. We cannot afford to let our opponents think they have a way to remove me from the fight.
And if I don't crush that opponent utterly, my pride won't let it stand.
I was pretty sure we were gonna have to have this talk eventually, but, whatever, no time like the present.
If anybody else we face is stupid enough to construct an anti-Lightsworn deck just to force you out, then that's their loss, because there are four of us who can eviscerate a deck that's that narrow-minded. Nobody's going to do that because they'd effectively be cutting themselves down to two wheelers just to keep you out of the duel.
And if you've been thinking yourself as our strongest weapon this whole time, you have to stop or that's going to sabotage us. You can't keep calling one of your teammates 'idiot', and you can't use duels we have to face as a team as a place to settle a personal grudge against another duelist. This isn't like when we were in the pro leagues and all we had to focus on was wiping out one opponent to make ourselves look better. It's a team duel. We have to act like a team and do what's best for the team, even if we don't like it

I was young and dumb and kept throwing myself face-first into your lightsworn with like batterymen and e-heroes and stuff! Before I saved the universe I mean.

... But I don't like that strategy. If we rematch, I want to face that guy again.
