Can zombies float onto islands? Or walk under water?

I'm assuming that they can float, but not actually swim worth anything. The currents would carry them along.

How do they track you, by scent, sight, zombie-sense? They wouldn't be able to smeel or see you, so...

Yeah, but maybe they'd just get bored after a while, accidently trip into the water and float onto your shore.

Living in trees does sound like fun.

Maybe my discovery of how to make two lesbians have a baby will create little baby girl zombies that can't climb, and this will become a reality.
