Still crazy
Last weekend we did not go anywhere, but still managed to stay very busy at home. Saturday was spent running around and thinking about how to design something to get the cat food out of reach from the dog who likes to steal it. We headed to home depot for supplies and on Sunday, Tim put together a very cool little piece of cat furniture.
On Saturday night, we went across the street to a block party organized by one of our neighbors. It was a nice way to meet people and finally introduce ourselves to people we've seen around a lot, but never officially met. I made very garlicky hummus, which made some people very happy. Tim met a chick who works for Sun and they geeked out for over an hour, so he was happy. :)
Monday was my earned day so I went to the botanical garden to take pictures in the butterfly exhibit. It was very cool and I had a lot of fun!
Then I came home to find that my special peat moss had arrived so that I could finally plant my heirloom tomatoes! Yay!
I have four plants; yellow globe, green zebra, japanese trifle and porter's dark cherry. Should be quite a rainbow if they make it thru the summer. ;)
Can't believe it's Thursday already. I have a dentist appointment tonight for a teeth cleaning, which will be super fun. They make me go every six months for a cleaning because apparently I have some bad gums or something icky. Oh well. Looking forward to this weekend.
