Interesting Weekend

Well then!

After a 4-ish year absence, I returned to King's Gate this past weekend. Now admittedly, it was for a weekend of NPC'ing as opposed to PC'ing, but still.

I got to reprise an old favorite role of mine (in addition to the regular crunchy stuff) ... and wedged in some very very cool rp with Lee H.

Overall, I have to admit I was ~exceptionally~ impressed with how well MT ran, the organization, and scheduling of things. Checking in as an NPC (PC's and NPC"s alike must check in with same person) was simplistic and swift. And there were printed Rulebooks to be had!

Admittedly, there were several reasons I NPC"d. One, I don't plan to revive my old character, and I still need time for costuming. Two, I wanted to "test the waters" and "scout" a bit. See if this was something I wanted to return to after all.

And yah, after this weekend, I can say I'd like to.

Sure, the MT manager mentioned that things were running smoother than normal, etc, which implies I happened to see the Best of the Best events, logistically. However, there was an underlying feel of ... I dunno ... organization and precision (?) that didn't seem out of the ordinary at all.

So yah ... going to create a new character ... A medieval Lara Croft ;) Hehehehehehee!
