Hey, guys. I had an idea I wanted to run by you and see what you thought. It seems a decent number of us agree that Mandy's execution was, well, dead wrong, and Shingleton ought to be ousted for it. Maybe we could get a substantial crowd together at the Ministry itself to protest him being in office. It's a small step, I know, but it would at least be a way of getting the message right to his door. He ought to know what people think of his actions. Maybe it would be a start.
I thought it could be done on the night of the next full moon, you know, on behalf of the werewolves? I've been trying to think of a way to approach the subject to Remus. It's a bit touchy and all.
Also, Ginny reminded me about some things and...well...I just wanted to tell you guys how much I missed you while I was traveling. I've been a bit of a prat these past few months. I thought I could find something I was missing out there but maybe it was all just, you know, right here. Err, in any case, it looks like I'm staying in London for a bit, but do you maybe want to visit my flat sometime?
Oh, and Hermione, do you know if a person can drop an Order of Merlin?

I think there are things I can do that I'm not doing. Helping Mandy is one path, but I know I can do more. I want to enter Auror training. I want-- I'm requesting Potions lessons from you. I'm not going to be in your debt. I'll pay you, whether it's in money or something else, but we're going to agree on the terms beforehand. If that's not acceptable to you, I'll find another way. But I hope you'll consider it.
By the way, I think I left your book in my dorm room after my sixth year. It probably wound up in the library.
