Here we are, the promised next chapter!
Title: Sweet Dreams Ch. 3
Author: Still me!
Rating: PG - NC-17
Pairing: Yoosu (minor YunJae and MinSu)
Disclaimer: Not mine… yet. >:)
Summary: Yoochun is having trouble sleeping. Who could the mysterious person in his dreams be? And once he realizes who it is, what will he do about it? Fluff, smut, angst.
(Was inspired today when I hear Chun talking about how he recently went swimming with Su! Just imagining them wet and topless… together… *dies*)
“You don’t know who he is?” Jaejoong’s voice slowly increased in volume with each word. “YOU DON’T KNOW WHO HE IS?!?!?!?!?!?! PARK YOOCHUN, I OUGHT TO SKIN YOU ALIVE!!!!”
Yunho quickly jumped up in time to intercept Jaejoong, who had taken a flying leap towards Yoochun in an attempt to physically remove his face. Yoochun scrambled away in fear, knocking over the chair he was sitting on in his haste.
“Yoochun, run! I can’t hold him much longer!”
That was all the prompting Yoochun needed, and he flew out of the kitchen and back into his room, locking the door as Jaejoong’s almost inhuman howls followed after him.
‘What the hell was that about?!’
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yoochun decided it wise to stay in his room, fearing for his life when Jaejoong was like this.
‘What could have set him off like that? All I said was I didn’t know who he…was…’
“That’s it!” He exclaimed, jumping off of his bed in his excitement. “They must know who I was dreaming about! I’ll just go ask them…” He paused, already halfway across the room to go ask the two lovers who his mystery man was.
“Umm… maybe I’ll just wait until Junsu and Changmin get back…” The thought of confronting an angry Jaejoong without backup made him shiver.
/An hour later/
“We’re back!” Changmin called out, stepping through the door with a pouting Junsu in tow. Yunho, catching sight of Junsu’s pout, felt a headache coming on.
“What’s wrong now, Junsu?” He asked, almost instantly regretting it when Junsu immediately began to pout even more.
*sniff* “Minnie ate my ice-cream!”
“I did not!”
“You did too!”
“Nuh-uh! You offered it to me!”
“I only offered you half!!!! You ate the whole thing!” Junsu’s face slowly changed from pathetic to angry the more they argued.
“Did not!”
“Did too!”
“Did NOT!!”
“Did TOO!!!!!!”
“DID-”
“SHUT UP YOU TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Yunho had had enough. Junsu and Changmin instantly quieted. It was rare that Yunho lost his cool, and for him to have blown up so fast, something must have happened. The leader sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose to ward off his headache.
“Sorry. I didn’t mean to explode like that. Just… please stop arguing?” His apology faded into a plea, as the pounding in his head grew worse.
Junsu and Changmin realized that their arguing had given their leader a headache, and they immediately felt guilty.
“Sorry, hyung.” They said, hanging their heads.
“It’s fine. Just try to get along the rest of the night, okay?” He asked, grinning as Jaejoong, who finally noticed his hubby was in pain, rushed over and began to coo over him, massaging his temples with oh-so-talented fingers. Instantly, his headache was gone.
“Ah, Boo, you’re fingers are magic~” he sighed, relaxing into the massage.
“I know,” Jaejoong replied, a smug grin on his face.
“What’s going on in here?” Yoochun, having heard the loud argument from his room, had deemed it safe to come out of his sanctuary to investigate.
Jaejoong leveled him with a glare. “Nothing. It’s time for dinner, everyone sit down and eat!”
Dinner was a normal affair: Junsu going on happily about whatever happened to pop into his mind, while Changmin sneakily stole bits and pieces off of his plate without him noticing. Jaejoong nodded intently at Junsu’s ramblings, scolded Min when he caught him stealing food, rubbed Yunho’s thigh underneath the table, and glared venomously and Yoochun the entire time. Yunho pretended to ignore Jaejoong’s hand, and ate stoically, also nodding at random intervals when Junsu would ask a question. Yoochun, on the other hand, was quite, and picked at his food, lost in thought. Junsu, once he paused for air, noticed how little Yoochun had been eating, and concernedly asked “Chunnie, what’s wrong? You’ve hardly eaten.”
Yoochun snapped out of his thoughts, and replied evenly “Oh, nothing, I’m just not feeling that great right now.”
“Hmmm… I know! Let’s go play soccer! That should cheer you up!”
Junsu hopped up, grabbing Yoochun’s hand and attempting to pull him out of the kitchen and into the living room with him. Yoochun jerked his hand away, not noticing the hurt look in Junsu’s eyes as he did, and said “Not right now Su. I need to talk to Jaejoong and Yunho.”
“Okay…” Junsu replied in a small voice, and headed towards his room, shoulders slumped and head bowed. Changmin frowned at Yoochun.
“Nice going, hyung.” And he then proceeded to follow Junsu into his room.
Yoochun ignored the slight pang he felt as he watched Changmin go into Junsu’s room, instead turning towards the couple in the kitchen. Jaejoong’s glare had turned deadly when he saw Junsu’s reaction to Yoochun’s rejection, and Yunho had a similar frown on his face. Yoochun gulped, intimidated, but he needed to know who the person in his dream was!
“Yes? Was there something you wanted, or do you not know what you’re going to say?” Came the scathing remark from the band umma.
“Look, I know you angry that I don’t know who I’m dreaming about (I don’t know why you’re angry, though), but I know you know who it is. So?”
“So what?” Yunho asked, knowing what it was Yoochun wanted but unwilling to make this easy for him.
“So… who is it?” Yoochun demanded, getting fed up with the evasive pair.
“We’re not going to just tell you, Yoochun. You’re going to have to figure it out yourself, which shouldn’t be too hard, since the answer has been staring at you in the face this whole time! And I swear, if you hurt that boy, I will personally see to it that you’re life becomes a living hell!” Jaejoong whispered menacingly, and then as one, the two turned and headed out of the kitchen. Yoochun was left stading alone, in shock.
‘What does he mean the answer’s been here this whole time? I just don’t understand him…’
And he headed back into his room to contemplate the mystery that was his life.
-------------------Meanwhile, in Junsu’s room…--------------------------
“Suyah?” Changmin said softly, stepping into the dark room, spotting a small figure curled up on the bed, quiet sobs filling the air.
“Aw, Susu, don’t cry. He didn’t mean it, you know that.” He comforted, sitting on the bed and pulling a weeping Junsu into his arms. “He was just being… well, himself. You know how oblivious he is.”
“I know,” Junsu sniffled, cuddling closer to his comforter. “But I’ve been trying so hard to get him to notice me, and every time I try to spend time with him, he just blows me off! I’m starting to think that maybe…” He trailed off, face become pained and more tears starting to fall from deep brown eyes.
“Maybe what, Su?” Minnie questioned quietly, hugging Junsu closer to himself.
“Maybe… he’ll never love me.” He said quietly, letting out a soft sob.
“Don’t say that Su!” Changmin pulled away, lifting Junsu’s chin and forcing him to meet his eyes. “Of course he’ll love you, he’d be an idiot not too! It’s just taking him a while to realize what his heart has been telling him all along.”
“Thank you, Minnie,” Junsu sniffled, smiling tentatively up at the giant prince that held him in his arms. “You always know the right things to say to make me feel better.”
“Of course I do,” came the smug reply. “I’m Changmin, how could I not know?”
Junsu smacked him on the shoulder, giggling at the indignant “Hey!” it produced. Then he sighed.
“It’s just… so frustrating, Min! I’ve tried everything! The other day, we even went swimming together, and I wore really clingy swim trunks, and he didn’t even look at me! And all I could concentrate on was him, with all that water and topless-ness… What am I doing wrong?”
“Well, for starters, stop talking about Yoochun being wet and topless. That’s not something I want to picture, thank you very much. Now, you on the other hand…” He said with a cheesy grin. Junsu laughed, hitting Changmin on the shoulder again.
“Minnie, stop teasing me! I know you have a crush on me, but we both know it’s just a friendly one.”
”I know, I know,” Changmin sighed. “But it’s just so much fun to tease you!” And with that, he tackled Junsu and began to tickle him again, pinning him to the bed with his larger frame. Once Junsu’s laughter had subsided, and they had curled up together on the bed, Junsu released a happy sigh.
“I love you, Minnie.”
“I love you to, Suyah.”
“You know you’re gonna have to help me find a way to win him over, right?”
“Of course. I am a genius, after all.” Another smug smirk.
A giggle. “You sure are.”
Outside the room, one Park Yoochun stood frozen, shock and that strange emotion he had been feeling lately coming over him.
‘Changmin and Junsu? In LOVE?’
