Relish--okay, I'm out of condiments. More catchup work.

...derrrrrrrrp.  It's been a while since I've posted for the journal; I've fallen a bit behind, to be honest.  I have a much harder time with poetry than I do with prose, but I'm catching up and working on my portfolio (which is due Friday), so there'll probably be more updates here.

5 line poem

Each line is 7 syllables

Going home from school today.

Have to leave fast to catch my

plane.  Leave class and grab my stuff.

Family awaits my return.

Crap, the bus is leaving now!

Write the name of a board game that you play

Name of two actions that you recently did

Slept

Walked

Names of two foods that you like to eat

Burgers

Subs

Two emotions that you’ve recently felt

Stress

Worry

Why I was here, I had no clue.

Drunk skateboarding seemed fun, but now I just wanted to sleep.

I yawned and tried to think of an excuse, but leaving was taboo.

If I chickened out, I’d lose the bet; I was in too deep.

There once was a Vulcan named Spock

Who had his own internal clock.

“It’s time, oh boy!”

Write a spell  (LOLWHUT).

First four lines include ingredients

Last two lines need to have masculine rhymes

~*positive*~ spell

First a pack of C4, then a golden ring

sake from a jug that could make a monk sing.

Then the fur of a cheagle and some omnigel.

Don’t forget pineapple or your it’ll give your stomach hell!

That flux capacitor and materia need a dash of FK

otherwise the sonic screwdriver will begin to decay.

Boiled in water and fire from an Adept,

spoken only in the Speech will this spell accept.

Written only by a stele can these words be read,

mixed only in a lightning storm when most are abed.

And from final frontiers to decades past,

any character of your choice - real at last.

Author’s Note:

Oh god.  Oh Pfffff did I really just write this.

…whoever can name the most references in the above poem gets a free fic request.  >_>;;
