Stew is ready in the crock pot. Bread will be done baking in about 10 minutes.

I'll be the first one to give Seattle shit about having a lot of crappy fans for their sports teams but I have to say it looks a nice crowd turned out at Qwest Field for the Sounders game.

Nice goal by the boys. More importantly, way to dominate control of the ball.

My brother Mark finished 10,000 - somethingth out of the 25,000 people that ran in the Boston marathon today.
I don't know how he did within his age group yet.

Not bad for a 57 year old geezer.

I come from good stock.

Sounds almost like they are saying, "We're not going to suck as much as we used to".
Way to set the bar high, huh?

Well, neither game ended the way I hoped today.

Neither the Eagles nor the rookie QB from my home State, Joe Flacco, will be in the Superbowl.

Looks like once again Superbowl gatherings will be infested with this unsavory sort.

Thank heaven for small favors.

Biscuits and hash browns are in the oven. Bacon is on the stove crisping up. Eggs are ready to drop in the pan.

This is exciting. If Philly does it today then I win some cash plus they go on to the Superbowl which will make that a very exciting game for me.
