Work is going well. I’m off for the rest of the week now and today my boss gave me some money and told me she’s thinking about giving me a three-month contract to do maybe two days a week - that way I can earn money on top of my dole benefits. That would be great. I’m quite proud of myself - all this time I’ve been so nervous about working, and now that I’ve been given a chance I’m actually doing alright. Yay.
We went to see Ste’s family on Sunday, his dad was making pancakes. It didn’t last very long though - John (Ste’s brother in law) was drunk and he was being really rude and generally acting like an idiot, so we cleared out. It was just a bit embarrassing.
Anyway, tomorrow I’m going to Ireland for a couple of days. I’ll be back on Thursday. It’ll be nice to see everybody, it’s already been eight weeks since I was last there.

I think lanterns are really pretty.
